The Define Fields window lets you tell FileSWEEP to look for certain field lengths in a given sequence within each record of a file on you PC.
To access the Define Fields window:
Open the FileSWEEP menu and select FileSWEEP Formats,
In the Maintain Formats window, highlight the format you wish change and press [Modify] or make a new format through the [Add] or [Duplicate] buttons.
The Define Format window will open. In the File Types section of the window, change the Micro option to "With Fields", and then choose the [Fields] button.

The Define Fields window offers the following features.

Press this button to add a field in your record description. FileSWEEP will insert your new field immediately after the record you have highlighted. This button opens the Field Definition window. |

[Modify] |
Press this button to change the length of your record fields. This button opens the Field Definition window. |

[Remove] |
Press this button to delete a record field. |
