Rename Environments

With administrator permission, rename terminal environments with meaningful names so that you can remember which one is which when you work with multiple environments.

Follow the steps below to rename your environment(s):

  1. Open the environment you want to rename.

  2. From the Configure menu, select Environment Configuration. The Environment Configuration window will open.

  3. In the Environment field, type in a new name for the current environment (replacing TermN).

  4. Click [OK]. The new name will appear in the last field of the status bar at the bottom of your terminal screen as well as in the title bar.

  5. Save the configuration.

For more information, see Environment Configuration.
