Install JPrint -- Microsoft Windows Only

JPrint is a utility that adds some convenience items to your screen printing options, although you do not have to install JPrint to print screens.

With JPrint, you get the following features:

Installing

Depending on what options the administrator has set, one or more of the following methods of installing JPrint will be available.

NOTE

The installation of JPrint might require you to reboot your computer. It is a good idea, therefore, to close all other programs before beginning the installation process.

Method A

If your administrator has decided that you must use JPrint, and it is not currently installed, CTCBridge will automatically take you to the on-line help page that gives you installation instructions. Follow the directions on this screen for your type of browser (Netscape or Microsoft instructions only).

NOTE: If your emulator window opens in a separate web environment from your browser, that emulator window might appear over the on-line help window. Simply click on the on-line help browser window to reactivate it, and then install JPrint.

Method B

If your administrator has given you the option of installing JPrint, an Install JPrint menu option will appear under the File menu. When you select this item, an on-line help screen will open. Follow the directions on this screen for your type of browser (Netscape or Microsoft instructions only).

Method C

If your administrator has not required nor given you the install option for JPrint within CTCBridge, you can still download and install it yourself. In your browser’s URL address field, enter the IP address or URL of your MultiBridge server followed by “/ctcjp/jprint.htm”. An on-line help screen will open. Follow the directions on this screen for your type of browser (Netscape or Microsoft instructions only).
