Manage Scripts

The Manage Scripts option from the Macro menu gives you control over the script files you want your users to use during their CTCBridge sessions. From this window you can create new script files, and edit and delete existing script files. This option is only visible when logged in as an administrator.

  1. Select Manage Scripts from the Underneath menu. The Manage Scripts window will open. From this window, you can create a new script, edit existing scripts, or delete existing scripts.

Make a New Script

  1. To make a new script file, click [New]. The Script Files window will open.

  2. Under the prompt "Please Enter a Script File Name," enter a name for your new script file.

  3. Click [OK] or press [Enter]. A text editing window, the New Script File window, will open (the name of the new script will appear at the top of the window as well).

  4. Enter the contents of your script. For help with writing scripts, see Macro and Script Codes.

  5. When finished creating your script, click [OK] to save it. Click [Cancel] to exit the editor and not save the script.

Edit an Existing Script

  1. To edit a script file, click its name in the Manage Scripts window and click [Edit]. A text editing window, the Edit Script File window, will open (the name of the current script will appear at the top of the window as well).

  2. Make the desired changes in the Edit Script File window. To save the script file under a new name, click [Save As]. For help with writing scripts, see Macro and Script Codes.

  3. When you are finished editing, click [OK] to save the changes. To exit without saving, click [Cancel]. You will return to the Manage Scripts window. To edit another script file, repeat steps 1 and 2.

Delete an Existing Script

  1. In the Manage Scripts window, click on the name of the script file you want to delete.

  2. Click [Delete]. A message box will open asking, "Do you really wish to delete this file?" Click [Yes] to delete the script file. Click [No] to cancel the deletion. You will be returned to the Manage Scripts window, and the file you deleted will no longer appear in the list.

  1. Click [Close] to exit the Manage Scripts window.
