Assign Button

The Assign Button item from the Configure menu gives you the options for changing CTCBridge buttons. These buttons in the button bar to the side, top, or bottom of your terminal emulator screen are not static in function. Your administrator might regulate whether you can make or save any changes on these windows. If you notice that you can make the changes but cannot save them, ask your system administrator for assistance with making the changes permanent.

The Assign Button wizard leads you through the process of changing a button’s function and label. A series of windows will appear after you make option selections and click [Next >>] buttons.

1. Choose the button you want to reassign from the scrolling list. The current button definition and the default definition are both listed for your reference. Empty buttons are listed by button number.

2. Click [Next >>]. The Button Action Assignment window will open. See Button Action Assignment.
