The Datacomm Setup window allows you to determine how CTCBridge T27 will react to the datacommunication instructions that your host sends to your terminal and how you would like information sent to the host. When properly set, these options will ensure a safe and uniform exchange of data and simplify keystrokes.
The Datacomm Setup window contains the following options:
Sound Bell For Enquiry |
Sounds a beep when the terminal goes into enquiry (ENQ) mode. Default is true. |
Hold In Receive |
Forces the terminal to stay in RCV mode. Default is true. |
SOH Clears Screen |
When a Start of Header (SOH) character is sent from the host, it will clear the entire screen. Default is false. |
SOH Clears Forms Mode |
When a Start of Header (SOH) character is sent from the host, it will clear forms mode. Default is true. |
Transmit Line At A Time |
All transmit actions will only transmit the line or field where the cursor is located. |
Transmit Page When In Forms |
When in forms mode, a transmit action will always transmit the whole page. |
Write TAB in Memory |
When true, a TAB character is written on the screen in display memory. When false, a TAB is invisible. |
VT Is Page Advance |
When true, a Vertical Tab character is written on the screen in display memory. When false, the VT is invisible. |
DC1 Function |
When a DC1 character is received from the host, the emulator will perform one of the following actions:
